## Who runs QuoteMyData

QuoteMyData is run by **Ignacio Malpartida**, a go-to-market operator who has built sales and partnership engines at B2B startups. He started QuoteMyData after seeing companies receive single, unexplained offers for their data with no way to compare them.

## Why we exist

AI labs and their data vendors now pay ordinary companies for de-identified records of how work gets done: chat, email, tickets, docs and project history. An offer is difficult to assess without knowing the records, permitted uses, exclusivity and acceptance conditions it covers.

Our work starts with your inventory and objectives. We research relevant programs, organize permission-based introductions and help compare any offers received. We may be paid by a buyer, so we disclose that interest; we do not represent the entire market.

## How we work

- **Seller first.** Our job is to help you judge the terms, preparation work and trade-offs, including when an offer is not worth taking.
- **Consent and clean scope.** Nothing is shared without written approval, and client, NDA, HR and regulated data stay out.
- **Transparent about money.** Quotes are free for companies. Buyers may pay us when a deal closes; it is paid by the buyer, not deducted from your payment. Read our [disclosure](https://quotemydata.com/disclosure).

## What we never do

- Use buyer logos or imply a partnership or endorsement.
- Present ourselves as any buyer’s employee, agent or representative.
- Promise earnings. Ranges we show are each buyer’s own published figure, linked, or clearly labelled reported values.
- Share anything about your company with a buyer without written consent from an authorized officer.
